Built Heritage Recording and Documentation

In this thematic area, our office offers the following services;

  • 1. Development of maps which delineate the building attributes and relations on site in CAD.
  • 2. In event of threats to site, we record buildings, monuments and structures of all kinds.
  • 3. We assist State Parties in developing evaluation reports which includes the documentation and evaluation of the built heritage which are of historical interest from point of view of nation states.

Nomination of World Heritage Property

With our immense academic and practical experience knowledge of the UNESCO World Heritage processes, we;

  • 1. Focus and follow the Operational Guidelines in the development of the nomination dossiers.
  • 2. Establish the methodology for the process of the selection, define and carry out research, proposing an integral solution for the whole.
  • 3. Provide practical skills and theoretical knowledge needed to help State Parties identify, protect, manage and present cultural and natural heritage sites.
  • 4. We combine theory and practice in a cross-sectorial way, by emphasizing the link between culture and nature, tangible and intangible heritage values, nomination dossier development.
