Dr Jubril Olakitan Atanda (Ph.D) is the Vice-chairman of The African Heritage Conservation Initiative. Born on 27th March 1991 in Lagos, Dr Jubril is a Nigerian architect with vast professional architecture and heritage conservation experience in the USA, Cyprus and Nigeria. He earned a doctoral degree in architecture from Cyprus International University. He is widely revered for his academic contributions in the direction of social sustainability and conservation of the built environment as evident in his publication in several research papers in highly rated journals. He has developed a reputation in sustainable development, with a focus on the social aspect of sustainability. He is a strong believer in the aptitude of architecture and social factors combined with design thinking for intensifying our design spaces and positively affect the world. He is an ardent for cultural heritage conservation and management.
